"I write this log or diary.... whatever you call it to help those in the future not make the same mistake humanity did"
-early 2047-

"Day 1: Today I woke up with a headache and a dry mouth.... As soon as I went to the kitchen I realized this was the day I shouldn't have woken up. I saw on the television "Russian Federation declares war with United States of America along with N. Korea." I knew even though Nuclear Responsibility treaties were out this would not end well.... I had thought a day would come like this since I was 13.... I spoke with my family for a bit then my phone started to blare its annoying sounds... I picked it up and it was the Government wanting me to go into service. I had was enlisted in the US Army a few years ago and I was just one to be used when needed most. So they called about how they needed me for the war so I said my goodbyes and as I looked into my wife's eyes I knew I wouldn't come back.... Off I went and I was to be sent to Europe... Germany in particular to watch a factory with 14 other Americans that was owned by a German company that had been given permission to make nuclear weapons and this was the factory they made them at... as long as I was there we no nukes would be delivered. It would be tomorrow that I would start my time.... I would sleep tonight with fear..."
