- Watched a bunch of videos on how to play
- Bought the game
- Waited a while for it to install on my PS4
First city:
Started off good, ran out of money because coal power plants cost too much
Second city:
Made a good city, made lots of money. Spent a while looking for the terraforming tool but I’m on console :(. Built a big expansion, stopped playing for a couple days, came back and that part wasn’t there. Made a new city.
Third city (current city)
Built along the coast, went into debt, went out of debt because taxes are awesome. Built the high rise part of my city along the cliffs because I’m on that one map with them.
It’s got a bunch of districts, taxis, a bunch of bus and metro lines, maybe about 36,000 people, a farming district and forestry district, and a nice little port.
i have played cities skylines and here is my stories
city1. failed because the road layout was really messed up
city2. at first time its kinda successful but i accidentally make my citizen drink an poo
city3. very successful but i ran out of money lol
city4. the most successful city that i ever made but my cities skyline crash and i cant open the game so goddammit
city5 now since my cities skyline in Nintendo Switch crashed so i play cities skyline in xbox, and the fact is that this city were really good and the problem is that we ran out of space and the traddic was really sh*tty
Yeh, I went into dept then tried taxing and more than half the city moved out XD
Look up “DeekFTW Northern Valley”. Its very fun to watch.
@Johnnyboy9
I shall @Awsomur
Well, I recommend watching some YouTubers play the game to see if it’s worth the money.
@Johnnyboy9
I don't have money yet XD
@Awsomur @InternationalAircraftCompany
I highly recommend it. @Johnnyboy9
It is! @Johnnyboy9
The game seems interesting
I had my sewage pipes and water pipes in a lake and the water pipes slowly pulled sewage toward them. I built a dam to protect them and it pulled water from the lake up a cliff somehow so I put my water pipes there. @Awsomur
These cities sound really cool!
.
This may sound obvious, but to avoid long term water pollution, you should position your sewage outflow pipes downstream and your freshwater intakes upstream. This way your citizens aren’t drinking their own waste. I didn’t think this was an issue until recently when an entire district was dying from water pollution.
.
Ironically, the number of ambulances driving around caused sever sound pollution as well.
