a question about flaps

I know that setting a control surface's input to VTOL or Trim allows you to use flaps. But flaps made this way go both directions. I'm making a jet bomber right now and it has a bomb bay that opens with VTOL up. I want to add flaps but if I want to open the bomb bay, the flaps go up too. I don't want to assign a activation group to flaps because it'll make flying more complex.
Does anyone know how to make flaps that only go one direction?

@Rodrigo110 so I can basically set the input to activate1 and it'll open the bomb bay?

You could make the bomb bay doors open when you activate AG 1 with no VTOL involved if you set the controlling the bomb bay door with ‘activate1’

If you use Overload set the negative one to zero in input controller

His talking about having them only go down, not up. So VTOL up doesn't move the flaps, only VTOL down

Invert the controll surface on the side that’s going in the wrong direction.
