Blocking

Just curious, what are the community's general thoughts on blocking after responding to a comment denying someone the chance to defend themselves? Should this be frowned upon or just ignored as users have the right to block whoever whenever they please no matter the context? Keep it civil guys and remember that anything specific to a certain blocking is against the rules.

    @BACconcordepilot lol what did I say about mentioning specific blockings? This post is not meant to bring to light certain blockings but to debate whether context should matter when blocking.

    @Awsomur yes but in America I have the right to refuse questioning from the police. If everyone used that right no matter the context there would be a lot more innocent people in jail and prosecuting the real bad guys would be harder.
