UPDATE IDEA: Lifting Gas Block

7,801 NorthwestIndustries  6.9 years ago

Since the Airship Revolution has begun, I was thinking that for a future update, a new kind of block that is extremely light, and has a limit of 20x20, that can support air buoyancy. It would have to be connected directly to a fuselage block, and wouldn't be good at handling stress. This will stop people from overusing it but and would still allow creative freedom

Feedback edits: how about giving it a wobble that can be fine tuned by a rigidity slider. Also, make it draggy

1 upvote = 1 vote. Spread the word. The revolution has begun.

    @Patrick20206 I'm on iOS. The apple cult doesn't approve of mods.

    I think it’s an extremely stupid idea to be able to run out of opinion @BurkeEnterprise

    @BACconcordepilot that might be hard to code, great idea though. Maybe have a rigidity slider, so you can make them gas bags or blimp envelopes

    @chancey21 I know about negative weight. It's how I made the GZ-20.

    @BACconcordepilot yeah I see what you mean now, I thought you meant it would be flopping around

    Negative weight exists but doesn’t do what you think it does
    It can be found here

    @BurkeEnterprise You are supposed to make a forum post, like this, but you need to make a uservoice suggestion TOO, and then add the link to said uservoice suggestion INSIDE the forum suggestion.

    @BACconcordepilot no, they wouldn't be springy, just very weak and succeptable to damage by g-forces.

    @BACconcordepilot as long as you make them fragile, it would be very hard to make them go fast. I was thinking of them working like pull-uppy and fragile weightless blocks.

    @Mod I did make a couple posts on the user voice but they don't seem to get anywhere. This seems to get more attention.
