I haven't even started on the cockpit yet but I'm excited to share my progress so far! After I'm done with the cockpit I will make multiple camos for this plane and I will let all of you choose which one will be posted (similar to when BogdanX asked people which He-219 camo he should post). For now I'm defaulting to a generic tropical camo. Keep a look out for more updates!
@TheGuyYouMightKnow oh thank god
@MidKNIGHT04 Not out yet, possibly out this weekend!
Am i able to download it because i tried to look for it but i dont see where i cant download it.
awesome! btw is the canopy openable?
Heres an image: http://luftwaffeprofile.blogspot.com/p/jg53-friedrich-profiles.html. The pilot was Gunther Fronhofer@TheGuyYouMightKnow
@ChromeGamer25 Yes the flaps generate lift, as of now I'm not sure if it will be mobile friendly, still have some work to do. Really haven't been playing much SP recently. I'll take your suggestion into account! If you could give me a source image (and if possible the pilot) that would be greatly appreciated!
Do the flaps generate lift and will this be mobile friendly? Nice work so far, Id suggest a sicily type camoflauge (not the orange and black, the grey and black.)
@Tully2001 Gotcha, nice pfp btw.
@TheGuyYouMightKnow oh lol k
@Gravity Wasn’t me
@Tully2001 Do you mean round it out?
Were you flying that on sp multiplayer yesterday? I think I mighta shot ya down
@jamesPLANESii Thanks! It already pitches down quite a bit. I've just stacked wings on the inside to prevent it from nosing into the ground on takeoff, I can just add more wings lol.
Yeah that’ll help. Also making it heavier may help too. But be careful moving the CoM forward cuz it can result in it pitching down. @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@jamesPLANESii I can do that for the wings but the elevator's are made of fuselage blocks and if I change the deflection on the control surfaces they will poke through the fuselage parts. Would moving the CoM foward help?
Decrease max deflection degree of control surfaces. @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@jamesPLANESii How? Just increase prop power? I don't think I've ever been concerned with stall speeds. Also do you know how to make the turn and roll rate slower? This thing turns too fast and it makes the cockpit view disorienting and it doesn't look right when I can pull an immelmann turn in like 2 seconds.
If I were you, I’d increase it to at least 70... @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@TheGuyYouMightKnow Thanks
@SoulWarden I just moved them around until the prop didn't explode. Both the guns an prop have collisions turned off HOWEVER I don't know if that effects it. I recommend that you just move your guns around until something works, usually the closer to the prop the better.
@jamesPLANESii Around 50mph
How do you get the gun to shoot through the propeller with out it breaking/exploding?
What’s it’s stall speed?
@CoolPeach Thanks! I'll take a look at the nose.
Looks really nice right now, my only concern is the shape of the nose, it seems a bit fat. Other then that, keep up the good work!
