A year ago, gyros did not exist. This made helicopters hard to fly, and so working ones were impressive. But now, you could just strap a prop and a gyro and it is a chopper. Is it just me or does anyone else have any thoughts?

I agree mostly, anyone who makes a good replica heli shouldn’t use gyros, but they are good for quick (and mobile friendly) personal builds as well some things that would otherwise be impossible. My velocipod for example, I don’t that’s possible without at least one gyro
Honestly, A got vtol craft shouldn't use gyros
@BACconcordepilot @DarthAbhinav Thanks
I don't really use em except for making tank turrets stable on the rotator lol
It allows one to make artificial horizons, so that’s a thumbs up in my books.
