I was supposed to post the actual plane today, but I didn't have the time...
I'll now explain the mechanics behind its fuel efficiency. It is powered by one VTOL engine with a very low max input, and a very high force multiplier. Now, this method only allows for the engine to give its maximum output, regardless of the throttle level. All or nothing. I fixed this by using VTOL nozzles that rotate with the throttle input. This rotation vectors the thrust to make its forward component smaller, thus allowing the engine to act like a normal engine.
As for style, I was going for something kind of like Star Wars, or perhaps GOF2. I went for something more rugged and robust. In this build, I ditched the porcelain style that I have honed over time.
