XML Setting For Control Surface Speed?

23.2k XaFearedSniperx  6.9 years ago

Working on updating my A-4 Skyhawk and need to know if there is a way to change the speed at which a control surface pitches in the Overload XML settings. This would solve the problem of my plane pitching up too quickly and losing maneuverability, so if anyone could let me know I would appreciate it!

@Mod @Feanor maxDeflectionDegree ended up helping a bit, but I figured out the real problem was wing loading! I've never paid attention to it until now and apparently it was too high. Anyways, I uploaded the plane if you guys want to check it out. Thanks so much!

And if the maxDeflectionDegree doesn't help, you can always build your own control surfaces with hinges and wing parts! Harder, but much, much more rewarding.

Oh ok, I’ll try that out then. Thank you! @Feanor

Nope, though you can reduce the "maxDeflectionDegree" to reduce the speed of the aircraft pitching.
