Erm, actually, this is just about the NFL.

Yes, this is a post about football. As is the par for recent times, the news was scarce this week, so talking about the Super Bowl seemed to be a good idea,

Patriots loose, everyone else wins.

The New England Patriots have dominated the league for most of the 21st century. They are led by the highly skilled, highly cocky Tom Brady, the smile-less strategist Bill Belichick, and the filthy rich old man Robert Kraft. Together, these three men have crafted (or should I say, Krafted) one of the best sports teams in recent history. Time and time again they have beaten all of their adversaries. They even came close to dethroning the Miami Dolphins as the only team with a perfect season. But yesterday, they were beaten by the team that has never won anything: the long-suffering Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles and their fans have had their fair share of disspontmerns through their long lifetime. But the city of Philadelphia got what they deserved last night. And they got it by playing good, old-fashioned football.

But regardless of who won, it was an exciting game without a dull moment. A QB catching a touchdown, missed kicks, and referees overlooking obvious penalties from the Patriots while nitpicking the Eagle’s every move. Ah yes, the magic of the NFL.
