I scale a curved fuselage on each side to .20 width and height,make it's length the lenght of the wing and put the fuselage on the front of the wing.Adjust accordingly with the moving menu.
everyone doesn't do exactly like me but here we go...
First i recomend that you use strong wings/structural wings that are edited so that they can have Control Surfaces.
You should first know the general shape of the wings and build it on one side, on the other side you build the fuselage part and tweak it to the right size and when it's finished just mirror it. Other people might start with the fuselage blocks and then put the wings inside, both ways work.
