DRIFT CAR HELP!!!

12.6k Aviation  6.7 years ago

Hey, so I'm working on a 1986 toyota sprinter trueno, a car infamous for being one sweet drifting machine. The problem I have, however, is that I cannot figure out how to balance the tire traction settings (i have access to xml, overload, etc) to be able to send the car sideways, but also maintain control throughout both drifting and (for the most part) regular driving.

Any suggestions on how I should set up the tires?

'86 trueno is rwd if that helps with how the traction has to be set up

it works to a point @Minecraftpoweer, but scaling back the sideways traction seems to always make it slip too much. I found settings for SlipSidewaysAsymptote and SlipSidewaysExtrenum in overload, do you have any idea about this?

On ghe back wheels have keep the forwards traction 100 by pressing on the traction button in the wheels settings and decreese aideways traction. Possibly that might work.
