It would be great if possible: so once having a plane up in the air you should be able to put it in an automatic flight plan. Then you could open another plane in sandbox and fly that one up. Like you could in Simple Rockets! Then you could practise shooting things down. Would require some serious time in scripting though!

All-rotators ctrl surfaces can do it. I have uploaded one and it is available in my list of highlighted planes.

I like the idea but needs tweeks like not switching between the actual plane but switch between the cockpits that way mutiple planes all with the ability to controll them

You can if you set the controls like the throttle, rotators, gear, etc. to different activators, so you can have very different aircraft controlled one or more at a time, with a maximum of 6. That way, all the controls will be the same for the aircraft

@Planebuilder Oh dear, shall I stop doing it then? Basically, now with cameras it can be done. The main thing is to have different keys for the control surfces for each plane, then just place a camera on the second plane and switch as desired... There are limited keys, so yaw can be pitch on the second plane, and VTOL for roll.. anyways, it can be done, but true not designed that way specifically...
