Oh yes, I’m finally going to start spewing my pleas for new stuff in the next update, for no reason other than because I CAN.
-Part changer (?) so that you can change the fuselage to wood or glass with realistic(ish) densities, drags, and whatnot.
-New, more detailed engine for cars that has more than 600hp with out xml modding
-New single barrel revolver cannon that has a rof of ~1500rpm, and damage similar to a 20/30mm HE shell.
-(modeled after M2/M3 Browning) Machine gun with 600-800rpm
-Something similar to the Gsh-6-23 with 6000-10000rpm (that is a real number) and damage like a bias cannon (extreme damage)
-MORE XML THINGS IN GAME ahem (like size, floating parts,etc.)
-MOAR WEAPONS ahem
-MOAR ENGINES
-Possibly some gauges or instruments like a yoke,altimeter,etc
-More base structural materials
-More customization (engine exhaust,gun color,damage,bullet size [not weight])
-etc

@FgFg I see you are on IOS so the overload mod won't help. There is no problem with asking the community for parts. That just goes along with being an IOS user. The devs may not have any intention to do these as they are way too busy working on SR2. You can post your ideas in the Uservoice under the stuff tab.

A lot of this you can XML edit. You can scale every single part in the game. As well I believe there is a XML code on bullet caliber. If not there might be bullet mass. Also tracer color, bullet damage, and bullet scale is XML editable. If you can't edit the bullet damage, you can edit a parts health which might help. I do agree with the car engine though. The engine we have right now doesn't look like a car engine. However I don't think we need more weapons. We have already a bunch. Different missiles, rockets, bombs, torpedoes, countermeasures, and guns. We have plenty. Plus SP isn't about blowing stuff up, SP is about teaching it's players about aviation and the basics of aerodynamics. We do have an altimeter, it just doesn't look like an actual one.
Yes I know I would love an update but the Devs are working around the clock to get SR2 ready. Let them be for the moment.

Gun RPM's and engine HP's can just be simply done with XML modding though. If you use iOS, just ask someone do to it for you. However, I do agree with the bullet size thing, it seemed to have been removed and I'd like different calibers that do different damage.
