Icarun-13 Quadrant

A convoy of USF ships moves through space on a routine patrol of the Icarun-13 Quadrant. However, this routine patrol is now the hunting grounds for a new Epochxian starfighter, a deadly advisory that they cannot match. This is recorded audio found in the debris field after the skirmish.

RECORDING STARTS

COMMS OFFICER: Sir! we are detecting about ten starfighter sized objects exiting from warp.

CAPTAIN: Only ten? That's odd, is it a scouting party?

COMMS OFFICER: I am not sure sir...wait, high threat levels detected! From ten fighter? Something isn't-Oh god, Epochxians!!!

CAPTAIN: Epochxians?! All the way out here?! Evacuate the Quadrant! Get every ship we can hail on combat alert alpha!

BATTLE OFFICER: Sir! Advised that we release all available fighters and gunships to combat them-what the hell?! They just destroyed three of our cruisers!

CAPTAIN: We can't combat them, retreat back to base!

ENGINEERING OFFICER: That will take us about a minute! We don't have the time! I say we all abandon ship and leave on life pods sir!

CAPTAIN: Fine then we-oh god no! one is headed right for us! Everyone brace for impact!
