i can't get simplePlanes to open, i tried downloading a plane, i tried opening through steam, i tried opening it directly, every time it just flashes "launching simpleplanes" and then does nothing.

@goboygo1 but o´do the verify integrity of gamfe files it usualy fixes any problems.

@ThePilotDude @Minecraftpoweer thanks, i will try restarting my computer, i already tried task manager. (i use it so often i have it pinned to my taskbar)
press Ctrl, Shift & Esc at the same time which opens the task manager (or just click the windows key and search for it) And you will see which programs are running, if SP isn't there then it is not open and if it is there you should press on it and then press quit or whatever. If that doesn't work try verifying file integrity.
