Would the planes we design actually work in real life. I might just be being stupid but if engineers actually balanced the weight some plane designs could fly theoretically. But I still want to confirm it.

@Rohan oh oops i will change that now! :)
BTW it should be Would OUR planes fly, not are
I have wanted to see a real life hypno plane for a while now. An rc jet powered hypnoplane... How many g's could you pull in that
Well people are making replicas like the highest rated plane ever the P-51 and they fly perfectly and sometimes exactly like their real life counterparts so I'd say you could make SOME of these planes in real life
@TheFreakyWatermelon yup
@picy that's cool isn't it!
@ahappyape LOL!
@TheFreakyWatermelon i think most of theme would.
@TheFreakyWatermelon now to find an RC plane builder....
@ahappyape lol yep! XD but it would be so cool to see the "Proteus" flying!
@RocketLL that's amazing! I am so impressed with the devs for that trick!
That's the whole point of the game, planes that fly just like they would in real life.
No doubt some would but I think some of mine wouldn't. Like my last "proteous". All the vertical sections are made out of structural panels. These don't count towards flying characteristics - so in reality those vertical sections would act like your horizontal stabilisers - and being at the front - it would not fly. :-). Ps. If that made any sense then cool.
If someone were to start building 3d replicas it would be a start :) @PureDeath hint hint :)
In theory yes some would work. I thought about this a while ago and came to the conclusion the best way to find out would be to make scale replica rc planes. They did a similar thing with the aztec " planes". If you are unsure of what i mean google them :)
Generally yes.
