[Help] How does the ordnance deployment system work? (The ordering, in particular)

The title is pretty self-explanatory, but how to can I manipulate the system so the bombs fire in the order I want them to? This is absolutely crucial for my build to work- a gun that uses belt-fed ammunition, but the bomb firing order completely messes it up. XML, nor placement order helps. I am sorta sure it has to do with cockpit placement, but I do not know how to make it work for me. Thank you!

Customizing order would be great. It would simplify so many issues with weapons and editing other parts (such as weapon bay doors). But all I want to know is in what order weapons deploy while I'm in the editor so I can program other parts appropriately. As is... maybe there's something I don't know about the part attributes... I just have to keep blowing my plane up to see what order missiles fire in. It's usually the same pattern, from the innermost weapon to the outermost, alternating sides. As far as I can tell, it's impossible to tell how weapons will behave while designing the plane. Can you tell from some unique ID attribute in the XML editor? Like part number order? This is a super old post, but I haven't been able to find any discussion of the issue on this site or elsewhere.

Probably the one that is in the game first, if you have weapons not connected save them as subs and then remove them from the editor. then Place them in order like this: Place the first one, mirror it, Place Another one and mirror it and they should fire in order.

@goboygo1 As of my knowledge, there is no such XML attribute. Oh, and I tried the placing order, but it seems to be completely different. Thanks for the help though.

i think the last one placed fires first, also you may be able to edit that with XML?
