Like what? I think flying to different airports in a 172 is more beneficial for somebody who wants to be a Bush pilot @WNP78
I went to flight camp in southern us
Hint about where I live
@Chancey21 I guess not
I’m in eastern US somewhere is that where you went? @Jacobdaniel
@Jacobdaniel yeah, good point
@AeroEngineering no I was just wondering if he was going to the same flight Camp I went to,
Also encampment is not a fight camp
@Chancey21 not only is gliding a great sport but it's a way into aviation. I won't go into the details now but there are a lot of advantages over power flying.
That’s cool, but I am more interested in flying a 180 or J-3 or something bushy like that @WNP78
@Chancey21 I solo-ed at 14. Gliding is the way to solo young. In the UK, the gliding solo age is 14. Not sure about the US. It's fun though. And better than just stooging around in a cessna: you actually have a purpose.
Luccy
@Jacobdaniel you looking too see if going to Encampment?
jealous
Eastern @ThePrototype
Quick question...... is it in the southern part of the US?
@Chancey21 I totally understand that lol
@Chancey21 Lol RIP, a pilot I know did the theoratical part of flight training in the Netherlands, and went to Arizona together with a few other flight schools (from other countries too) to do VFR cross country flying there. So that's what pops up in my mind when somebody says flight camp xD
No solos for me, I’m 15 XD @StallFlight
Can’t tell you without telling where I live @Jacobdaniel
No I’m in eastern US @StallFlight
To be honest I expected you to go to Arizona or something, do VFR flying and fly your first solo, lol. I'm not familiar with flight camps.
Cool! I just went to one in Pensacola
Lol, just heard a interview about flight camp on the radio
What is it called?
