Back to school:

It’s that time of year again: many users are packing up their book bags and heading back to everyone’s favorite life-waster, public school! With that responsibility popping back up, there will be many users with less activity on SimplePlanes. Of course school takes priority over any video game, but we will certainly miss them. Also, since school is a very stressful time, there’s a chance that many users will have problems and become depressed. This of course means off-topic posts, but even if their problems are irrelevant to SimplePlanes, please try to be kind and considerate when responding.

Milestones:

Several users have made some monumental achievements on their SimplePlanes journey this week, including:
TheGuyYouMightKnow: Achieved 25k points.
aircraftarsenal123: Also reached 25k this week.
JacobHardy64: Despite being inactive, this user has 25.1k points, meaning he assumed platinum rank fairly recently even if not this week.
grizzlitn: Totalled an astounding 50k points overall!

3:

Bad news for aviation:

A pilot and four people were killed Sunday when their Cessna 414 crashed into a Santa Ana shopping center, pummeling into a (vacant) vehicle. The five people were presumably killed on impact after their pilot had declared a state of emergency onboard, the nature of which is unknown. Many thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and the unfortunate car owner. It will be interesting to see just what caused N727RP to crash.

Despite it’s horrible flight performance and gargantuan scale, this build has a lot of great detail and can be improved on later by it’s creator.
