If you read my last forum post, you will know that I'm currently replicating the Airbus A380plus, but I have a problem with my custom landing gear.
It is made out of fuselages, hinges, and resizeable wheels. My problem is that the wheels don't seem to snuggle up to the fuselage, only 1/2 of it gets hidden. The front landing gear is able to do this without any problems though.
Is there a way of fixing it? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Problem has been fixed, Thank you to everyone who replied in the comments. I considered all of the solutions given.
And the a320
Use Overload to change it,
DisableAircrafCollisions=True
I am no master builder but I'll try to give some advice. It's kind of hard to see the issue without a clear picture, so this is assumption.
If the issue is that the wheels are not clipping into the fuselage, disable the gear part's collision or fuselage parts collision, via Xml modding or a really neat mod called Overload.
If the issue is the rotator, then you can try and increase the angle of motion, so that the rotor moves the assembly further.
Use pistons, to retract the gear further, which seems to happen on some of the landing gear on the real A380.
Sorry if this wasn't clear, again it is hard to deduce the problem with no clear pictures and only the teaser. If you are willing, there are some incredible builders and modders which will probably be able to solve your issue if you lend them the plane to fix.
@Feanor or if the fuselage that the gears are supposed to retract in to is just 1 piece he could make it no collision.
If all the collisions in the landing gear are set to false, you could nudge the rotator up.(Just the rotator, not the other parts)
