Making a large plane with many parts? A ground vehicle with separate systems? A boat that has a part that can break? If you have any of these and part of it can break and another part still works, wait until the cockpit gets damaged just a tiny bit. On a lot of my designs, a sneezed on cockpit can render the most structurally sound creations out of action. The tank I'm working on, if hit by a bullet a few times near the cockpit, will cause the cockpit to separate from it, losing all control. This is nowhere near realistic. I should've been able to still rotate the turret and fire the gun. Only the front was damaged. To stop this from happening just set the cockpit's "No Collisions" to True. Now, your cockpit won't magically separate from the craft when a bullet hits a nearby part. This has been an announcement I wanted to get out. Feel free to discuss or ignore.
Huh. Cool. :)
