When it comes to tank tracks, there are various different methods which users use. These are examples of just 3 (these are builds I think demonstrate these systems well):
I purposefully left out track systems like these, as though they are incredibly realistic, the high part count and dependence on a good PC make them impractical for high detail designs.

@PhantomBladeCorp Thanks! I think I will be using the wheeled suspension for it's realism and lower part count, though the design you and Minecraftpoweer provided looks the best.
I think the best tracks you can build are like this. It is the most part-efficient and functional in my opinion. @Minecraftpower did provide another track model (which isn't that new), however, it uses a lot more parts and this, in return, increases lag.
I am planning to use the same model on my current light tank project, but the problem is, I don't have the motivation to finish it. And in the last month, I've started at least 3 other projects and, thus far, finished neither of them.
Anyway, that was my two cents on the matter. Hope I helped with it :)
@Minecraftpoweer That's a very nice looking build! I was looking at BogdanX's Calliope and saw the design: I considered it. However I couldn't really find many builds with it and thus lacked references, hence why I didn't mention it.
separate Wheel is definently the best option for lower part Count. but this is what i use, it is pretty annoying to make and the part Count increases a lot depending on how smooth you want them but they look pretty good but if they could look more realistic that would be cool like the t14 armatas tracks irl, i Think they look the best
@DerekSP @LiamW Alright thanks, I was wondering what people would prefer for upcoming projects.
I think suspension performance is more important than looks so I go with separate wheels
