senate: each senator represents a prefecture.
Prime minister: serves as representative to other countries.

LAW ENFORCEMENT:
Local police: handles petty crimes and traffic control inside small towns. Uniform is blue shirt and blue beret or cap

Rangers : handes federal law enforcement and large scale incidents such as riots and disaster recovery. Uniform is olive Kevlar vest with RANGER in yellow on back and front. Sometimes worn with a tan cowboy hat. Cars follow similar paint scheme.
