So, I recently started doing a lot of research on earlier aviation first flight claims (Mostly because I'm starting to see something off about the Wrights claims, especially the fourth flight) I came across Richard Pearse and his first flight "claim". I also noticed there were not really any pearse aircraft replicas on the site, so I decided to build one my way....
(Note: I just stalled the plane very heavily) but everything here is built by me, it took a little while to complete. This is due to me going back and forth between projects. So, are there any questions?
here is the real thing, or the scaled down version
Here is the version Pearse patented in 1906
it's quite large
PS: The Ader Avion III is postponed for the moment, I've having issues with its control system and the configuration of the aircraft. I have got the control system to work, it just that with the Avion being a tailless aircraft, it doesn't fly to well. It will be a while before I can get a proper Avion
Nice
Ayy, cool penguin you got here dude
Hi
Sounds dangerous hahaha @ThePrototype
Well that will be just as awesome! :) @ThePrototype
But IRL I've been designing a propulsion method for wind powered sailing ships, it involves wind, a propeller, and gunpowder @Hyattorama
The ornithopter.... hmmmm I've had trouble with those in the past, and it's due to the lift generated by wings messing with the flapping system, so I will most likely do the Le-Bris Artificial albatross @Hyattorama
How about the Le-Bris Artificial Albatross or the DaVinci ornithopter? @ThePrototype
Haha right on @ThePrototype
What early aviators aircraft should I do next? (Ones that said they flew before the Wrights) @Hyattorama
Thanks, it might behave like the real thing (Hard to fly) @Hyattorama
Looks awesome man!!! I can’t wait to fly it! :)
@PlanesOfOld is this interesting to you?
@ThePrototype Np!
Thanks @SaturnV
Np! @ThePrototype
My username is Saturn28 on discord, but nice job.
Thanks man @CRJ900Pilot
