Hey peeps I wanna buy a new joystick (cuz the one I have is absolutely terrible and even using the keys is smoother than using the stick) and I want the most value for money one. Any help?

The main feature I want it to have is a twistable stick so it can have yaw, and for it not to be jerky (like when you move the stick it isn’t just instant pressure to the centre, it wants to move back to the centre more and more the more you pull it)
Oh and I want it to be good value for money. I’m not the richest boi in the world. Maybe try under $100 NZ.

Any help?

Looks like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is the one to go for.

yeah i recommend the 3d pro, its pretty easy to use and i have used it for a while until i stopped, it was for a flight sim class and it was an easy to use joystick. This was posted a month ago so i dont know if you have got it yet, but here is a link to it: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826102204

That’s alright. It’s more for Deadstick than SP. @Kaos

don't get this they look cool but break really quickly. The buttons fell off mine, and the yaw randomly flicks side to side without me even touching it. Other people have similar problems.

The Logitech extreme 3D pro is a good one, mine works quite well and it's really durable

I have this joystick, it has a twist rudder function on the stick and is made by Logitech. It is amazing! Link to it. I use it to play SP and Xplane11 Heres the link:

@jamesPLANESii the stick isn't too jerky. It's comfortable, and easy to move without too much resistance

@jamesPLANESii The Hotas also has variable resistance which may aid in reducing jerkiness.

How jerky is the stick? (I don’t really need the throttle because I’m getting the stick for Deadstick and that is a single engine aircraft) @BaconEggs

If I were you I'd buy a throttle as well. I'd suggest a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with a Thrustmaster X-55 Throttle. I have a Thrustmaster TWCS and it works fine, but the X-55 has dual throttles.

neither of the ones i have listed has a twist feature (idk about the logitech one ask ThePilotDude he has one) you have two options here you can buy the logitech extreme 3d pro ($35 us dollars)
or the thrust master usb joystick (the one I have) ($25 us dollars)

@Chancey21 I commented about this stick; it's a good option for it's price. Does seem a bit jerky for me though; is this a normal thing for this joystick?

Saitek is a good option if you aren't interested in going "full-hardcore" and getting pedals etc. I prefer CH Products because they're more reliable, but being able to control yaw axis with Saitek stick twist will save you money.
