@HistoricBirds I see. I don't blame you, I thought you already had the pedals are part of a set. In that case, I'd suggest seeing if you can borrow a friends joystick or X Box controller and see if the game can handle both.
@HistoricBirds oh. Mine is USB connected too. If you want to use yaw with your joystick, without rudder pedals or a twist function you could using buttons. If your joystick has at least two buttons on it you can map them for left and right yaw.
I have a HOTAS T-Flight Thrustmaster Joystick. It doesn't have rudder pedals but has a rudder function by twisting the joystick. I've noticed that when I connect it in Simpleplanes the bindings are incorrect. I have to go in and reset the bindings to all axes to fly, you may have to go into your controls settings and and bind the joystick to get it to work.
Hope that helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
I think so. Try hooking them both up toy your PC and starting SP. Then go into the Setting-->Controls. Pick Yaw Right and press a button to reset it, but when you try to change it under Controller use the Right Rudder Pedal. Do the same thing with Yaw Left and the Left Rudder Pedal. It might work.
@atgxtg ok thanks
@HistoricBirds Good Luck. I might be upgrading my controller. If I do I'll try plugging both in at once and see if it works.
@atgxtg yeh
@HistoricBirds Oh. In that case you're probably best of waiting until someone here says they've done it already. If no one does, assume the worst.
@atgxtg I don't have any friends :(
(I'm homeschooled in a small town.)

@atgxtg I don't have rudder pedals yet and want to be sure that it works before i spend $80 us dollars on rudder pedals

Maybe with mods or some kind of computer app.
