So I was trying to build a new type of gear when I realized that there is some sort of glitch that makes you a fraction of a degree off. For example, when it should turn 180 degrees it turns 179.99 degrees. I can’t build until this is fixed, so oof me I guess lol
oh @IzzyIA
That doesn’t work for what I’m doing specifically @Nerfenthusiast
use the original rotate feature
@IzzyIA should've guessed, i have already done that before.
But it isn’t consistent, for this example, when I put the slider all the way to the right, it turned 179.99 degrees instead of the correct 180 degrees. But if I did the exact same thing again and dragged the slider all the way to the right again, it might say like 178.79 or something like that, so even if I changed the sensitivity it would still make crazy turns. @stig27
@IzzyIA ok but reduce the sensitivity to easily bodge that extra 0.01 degrees
This is with the correct sensitivity to give me 180 degrees when I slide the bar all the way to the right. But the game it glitched to where it gives like 179.99 and stuff like that instead of 180 @stig27
@IzzyIA lower the sensitivity
I’m on IOS @goboygo1
use fine tuner, its better anyway.
@RailfanEthan
1.8 CONFIRMED
so if u see this andrew pls fix random parts sometimes just falling off when editing smth or things just stop working lol
Oof ok thx @RailfanEthan
@IzzyIA No clue, but it should be after SR2
Lol while that would work, using those buttons updates the object’s connection points which could make it connect to something I don’t want it to
If you need it rotated 180, just use the regular rotate buttons :D
Oh sweet, do you know when it’s planned to be out?@RailfanEthan
Andrew confirmed it'll be fixed in 1.8
