Hello! Its me again, asking the community about there favorite airshows. Personally, I like the Planes of Fame airshow alot, I go every year anf its a blast. But there are so many airshows and I want to here yours, so if anyone cares, comment below and tell me a story or about that perticular airshow. Also maybe theres an airshow you want to go to. For me its the farnborough airshow, never have gone but some day I will make it out there, abyway, enjoy
@HistoricBirds the planes of fame airshow has a large number of warbirds ever year
Bray Airshow, cos it’s the only airshow in Ireland.
@HistoricBirds There's ww2 stuff at Oshkosh, and it's actually flying!
I love going to my local fly-in every year.
@JelloAircraftCorporation I like ww2
As someone who has esy access to NASM, I would choose Oshkosh. True, some of the most groundbreaking and famous aircraft in history are at NASM, but they’re just sitting there. Oshkosh has 30,000 aircraft FLYING. @HistoricBirds
I really want to go see the red arrows when they tour the u.s. becuase that's where I live
I went once when I was young and my dad was stationed in England @Squirrel
@Squirrel wow that sounds awesome
@BlackhattAircraft I edited my comment with a little more detail.
@Squirrel i should look inyo that place sounds cool
Royal International Air Tattoo is supposed to be a great one in the UK. Almost went this year, but bailed as it wasn't financially viable for me at the time. It's supposed to be the largest military aviation airshow in the world.
My favourtite and only actually is the second biggest in the world. The Avalon Airshow in geelong. I have been every time starting 2011. Next show is early next year. If your in the area go have a look you might meet me out of the huge crowd.
Riat is good
I guess this post can also be abpit air muesums
@HistoricBirds @ThePilotDude I live in so-cal and im about an hour from planes of fame so im a member and a volenteer, love that muesum, 40% of it is flyable, we have the last n9mb in existance and it can fly, we have the last flying A6m with its original engine, we have the last flying P-26 peashooter, and the list goes on
@ThePilotDude im jealous lol
@BlackhattAircraft yeh I love history and airplanes but I only get to pick once :( meaning I can only experience one of those
also Oshkosh is in Wisconsin and I'm from Texas :(
@HistoricBirds personally I would choose Oshkosh but I can see the delema
@HistoricBirds oof
me too... :( I want to but I have to choose between that and the National Air And Space Museum. at the moment I can't decide
@HistoricBirds someday i'll make it up there
@HistoricBirds heck yeah dude
