Hi all,
I'm making a map with Unity, and I built an airfield with hangars and runway.
Actually, the runway is a game object with a mesh collider. The problem is that some creations are avoiding correctly the shape, and some other have wheels going through the runway and acts like they're stuck in the middle of the collider.
Anyone has an idea to fix this? Is there a Jundroo componment to add to have proper colliders?
(as you can see on the picture, collider is working fine with front wheel, but not with main landing gear)
The box collider did not really wirk out for me, but I think it has to do with the asset itself. It somehow messes up the shape. @MisterT Thanks for the help though.

@ViridiCinis You need to use box colliders, mesh colliders makes runway bouncy. If you already set your runway on "terrain" layer, then I don't know. I used both mesh and box colliders on my runways, because there are slopes on sides.
Did you manage to fix your problem? I'm having the same one and I already have the model/asset as "terrain" with a mesh collider. I tryed using the box technic, but the box glitches through the asset.
If you use mesh colldier, then you must to convex it. And the mesh collider should be continious. The region of the mesh collider which is contact with wheels must be thick. What about wheelcolliders, i dont know why they incorrectly work. Nice screenshot!
But for airfield i reccomended to use box collider.

@mikoyanster I'm using a mod called "0Rendering" that looks like "advanced rendering", It adds Bloom, lens flare, and lightrays. I found it on a forum, I think it's made by mushr0om but unfortunately I can't find it anymore. And I use "Reshade" for the Vignette and color adjustments.

That picture legitimately looks like an actual photo, like if I had no idea what SimplePlanes was, and I was shown that photo, I'd say it was real.
i have the solution for this problem... you use a box for make runways? you must select the box and tick the checkbox or option "Terrain". i will get an screenshoot for you, give me some hours...
Mesh colliders aren't ideal, I'd use a series of boxes if you can - it performs far better. Make sure they're on the terrain layer too.

Change the layer the object/mesh is in to terrain
