Ever tried spicing up your Soviet fighter or bomber with some color, and then searching for camouflage schemes to take inspiration from? They just aren’t that easy to find.
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25PU “Foxbat-C”
This is just a simple white overlay with the standard red stars.
Tupolev Tu-95MS “Bear-H”
This is just the factory-fresh silver coat with the red stars.
Sukhoi Su-24 “Fencer-D”
Again nothing much. Just a gray overlay with a white nose cone and wing leading edges.
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15bis “Fagot”
Silver base with red for the intake, tail surfaces, and call sign numbers.
Early production Sukhoi Su-7 “Fitter” fighters
Just silver as far as you can see except for red call signs and stars.
Lavochkin La-190
Unless you want to be seen several miles away, you could paint it in red with white only on the radar dome and around the star. This was the actual color it was painted in before its crash in 1951.
Very true. They’re unique to the country. @CarsonG1017
I love the turquoise color in the cockpits of Soviet planes though.
Oh thanks. That probably would help. @jamesPLANESii
You should search up [insert aircraft name here] cool livery.
So I see. @BACconcordepilot
