For a while now, I've named my fighters using the Fighter Attack system.
Ex. FA-40.
Know, i'm thinking about changing it, the FA system is sometimes given to U.S. Fighter aircraft, like the F/A-18 Super Hornet, and I want to make my names more original, not so much like the Untied States designation, but I'm struggling to come up with ideas, can anyone help?

Other nations use manufacturer suffixes (Mig-21, Me-262), or simply assign each plane a single name instead of a number (Rafale, Spitfire).
