So, you know how the government can be very secretive at times, and will most likely keep secrets from the public? Well, considering the fact that the government has actually allowed the military to post videos of things like Electromagnetic Railguns of all things, which are one of the most powerful weapons ever created, think about what they could be hiding, if they are literally confident enough with the public that they are actually allowing these things to be seen and known by hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of people everyday, just think about what they could be hiding from us, creepy...
@jamesPLANESii I'd have to agree with you, but just think about what they could be hiding...
Lol, our government is too open...
Well, the stuff they keep secret they’re probably keeping secret for a good reason, probably to keep you and the public safe, so I wouldn’t be too scared.
oh.
Oof
Spefy's right. The thing about experimental tech is that most of the time it doesn't work. All it has to do is work one time in a lab while someone is watching in order to be considered a success. Is it portable? Is it reliable? Does it break if you shake it? Does it break after you use it more than one time? Nobody cares, it's only an experiment, relax.
This was one of the problems Germany faced in WW2. Because the people in power had very little experience with how to run a government, they wasted staggeringly huge resources on bringing experimental tech onto the battlefield. The result? Planes that could only fly 10 hours before their engines melted, tanks too heavy to bring to the battlefront, and frontline fighters that never had enough good old fashioned ammunition.
Weapons that seem to be sci-fi in nature, such as railguns and directed energy weapons (basically lasers - I learned that they existed when browsing the Lockheed Martin website... long story for another time) are, in their current state, too experimental to have any efficacy in real combat. They are concepts that are, only in recent years, being fleshed-out. There are still years of development needed, before the glaring flaws of any of these weapons will be addressed.
Solar Warden, look it up. Some guy hacked into US and NASA computer and found this project, along with a list of Non-Terrestrial officers. That's means not from earth....
@randomusername Lmao
The major governments of the world probably have stuff 50 years ahead of what we actually know of. There was a project manager on a Black Project who said "We have stuff so advanced that it would make George Lucas drool"
@randomusername how are you always first in my posts lol
