How Do You Make a Realistic Fighter Plane Body?

343 GREYWOLF4802  5.9 years ago

I have some fighter planes I built a while back, I really like them, but I built them with blocks, and now I want an upgrade for them, please give me suggestions or point me to a tutorial video to help make these planes more realistic. Thank you very much, and if you do help me I will make it worth your while.

    What I do for my fighters is I start with one of the engines and build it based off the engine shape. I'm sure most people do that. Also for the fuselage shape being realistic I use the manual corner editor and make the inner corners hard and the outer corners smooth, curved, or circular.

    Download a plane you like
    Break it into parts
    And check the parts it use .

    I usually start with the nose and work my way back, then do wings and other stuff when that is completely finished. Using pictures of the plane and blueprints helps too

    Using more fuselage blocks is a good start.

    You could also try to panel.

    Steps;
    1- Make a fuselage block,
    2. Make two corners hard, two circular
    3. Rotate using sliders (Hard corners parallel to the ground.)
    4. Try making a nose cone out of progressively smaller fuselage blocks.
    5. Make a body behind that, Ending in a circular end for an engine

    something like that should work

    @LusK I know that I need something more specific than that but thanks for trying at least a little.
