I just saw a cobra attack helicopter fly over my neighborhood. A few minutes later I saw a Blackhawk (not that unusual this time of year) and the guy sitting on the ledge of the side door waved at me. Later in the day,(as I’m typing this) I think I saw a chinook, I’m not really sure it was actually a chinook or a v-22,(it was too far away for me too see it well). Does anyone know if there is some kind of exercise going on in Minnesota? ( I also saw a couple of c-130s, but I see those at least once a week.
I just saw a cobra attack helicopter! And a chinook!

the red arrows are too @xXRaindropXx
Yes, But i will not be able to build until Friday @Chancey21
Do you want help? @xXRaindropXx
@Chancey21 oh, its a heavy Vtol fighter, its kinda weird looking,
@LancasterAce the snowbirds are a pretty good demo team
When that helli dude waved I think he was saying. “Smile, we have snipers!”
@xXRaindropXx Indeed, I live close to coast, but I've only seen it once
@xXRaindropXx Cool! It really shows the absolute mad force resonating from those engines, it must be crazy to be next to one as it takes off.
yeah I now get t-6s and t-38s flying over my house every day and I am not phased by it @xXRaindropXx
Nice I’ve sat inside the cockpit of a t-38 once and nothing is like the feel of an actual plane cocpit @Chancey21
@T8flightcrafts i have only seen them flying by themselves or with a group of 3
@AWESOMENESS360 i was standing outside a few years ago and a chinook flew over so low that i could feel the force from the rotors.
@Bearclaw189 my father grew up in rural north Dakota, next to an air force base. there would be regular flyovers of b-52s carrying thermonuclear bombs.
Cool! I’ve actually gotten to sit in one, at our local airport somecstopped to refuel and the guys were nice enough to show us inside @Nerfenthusiast
What is it? @xXRaindropXx
I am used to the jet noise we got F18’s and F22 and the occasional yummy F35
@xXRaindropXx one time I saw a formation flying of around 30 cobra attack helicopters. I have never seen them before. That is very rARE very cool.
@LancasterAce @flyingsteve88 I've seen an A-10 fly-by, a V-22 Osprey, and a formation of Chinooks too. The Chinooks literally shook our entire house when they flew over, things started vibrating, and it was crazy!
@flyingsteve88 have you seen one of them land in the water, i find it very interesting how they land on water.
Lucky, I only saw some prop-engine seaplane in the recent day
@ThePilotDude personally i dont like blackhawks that much. no offence intended.
@LancasterAce i almost never see cessnas because my house is in a no-fly zone, except for airliners above a thousand feet or so, but military and emergency aircraft get an exception.
@AWESOMENESS360 i got one photo of the cobra but you cant actually see it because i was inside a school bus and could not get a clean photo. and all the other times. i didnt have my phone
did you get any photos? I'd like to see some photos. :) (if you don't know how to put in pictures, I can teach you.)
@Nerfenthusiast i have a freind who lives in san diego, and he isn't even phased when massive helicopter formations fly over.
