How do you delete cockpits?

69 klockmason35  5.8 years ago

I've tried what people did on youtube and it didn't work and my question is how do you delete it? I don't know if it's possible but if any of you now comment on how to do it. again I don't know if those videos are fake or what but if there is a possible way to comment on how to do it. I've tried multiple ways but none of them worked.

I think the easiest Way is get XML editor or Overload and scale it to 0.000 in X, Y, Z

You can delete any cockpit as long as it's not set as your primary. You set primary cockpits in their part options and get new ones from the build menu, so that you can get rid of old ones.

@klockmason35 stig is correct, just get a new one and make it primary and delete the old one

go onto mobile, and download a modded cockpit, it will not let you download it, but if you redo, and undo, all the modded items will disapear, so the cockpit will disapear.

You get out another cockpit, make that cockpit primary, and delete the old cockpit.

Your plane needs at least one (1) cockpit, but you can add a different model, select it as primary in the part settings, and delete the old one.
Maybe you could post a link to one of those videos to help me see what you mean.
