Did you try the 1.8.0.0 beta before trying the 1.8.0.1 beta? I see you didn't have any mods installed in the video, but did you try the beta using mods at any point before this video? It would probably be really helpful if we could get a copy of your log file. You can post it to www.pastebin.com and give us a link.
