Disabling the mods makes it faster but still slower than 1.7. I hope there’s some way to make FineTuner, X-Ray & Overload 1.8 compatible. Cause now I can’t build , download or upload @AndrewGarrison
@AndrewGarrison I havent updated to the beta yet ue to me being gone for a while because of school so I might try just finishing my Project an then I can update to the beta.
@AndrewGarrison upgrading works, although downloading this it took three attempts: the first it asked if i had the latest version of the game, the second it said there was no internet and the third it went to 3906% before downloading
I tested it out. Ok.
First, there is way too much movement in the editor.
Second, tiny fonts and brackets.
Third(pretty major) it is overloading my mac (CPU usage) and the overall frame rate is bad. Really bad. For reference my 2700-part battleship averages at 18fps on 1.7.1 The 300-part vintage car has sent the 1.8.02 plugging to 9fps. @AndrewGarrison
Also there's a minor editor glitch. if you right click incessantly the creation "jumps" towards several directions
@Minecraftpoweer @Avro683Lancaster @Redflask0416 Can you try switching to the Experimental branch in Steam and see if that fixes your issue? (Make sure your game says version 1.8.0.2 in the About page in the main menu).
Hello I have a question. I am on a MacBook Pro and is playing on SP Steam version. I keep trying to download planes but it just comes up with Aircraft failed to download, please check your internet connection and try again. I have tried everything anyone got any ideas
I think it may be an issue unrelated to the beta, as multiple users, myself included, are unable to download or upload builds on Mac. I am using SP 1.7, and although I did change to the beta twice I was able to download builds until a few days ago, which was around when the website had a certificate issue, which may or may not be the problem @Minecraftpoweer

Ok I’ll try that but I’m also trying to get mods and airplanes
@Winstonlharambe Are you using mods? If so, try disabling mods and see if that improves performance.

Exact problem I have. It’s just a website certificate issue. @Redflask0416
