Is it possible to XML Mod their magnetic power to be negative? If so, what does it do? Does it repel things instead of attracting them?
Plz experiment with this, I want to build something that could possibly become a revolutionary idea in SimplePlanes, but I can't do it myself since I can't XML Mod.
If you can XML Mod a magnet to have negative magnetic power, could you post it and tag me in the comments?
Thanks in advance if anyone helps me!
Repeling magnets would be awesome.....
Yeah, that or this. Because who even needs flares or some form of protection from missiles when you have guns that completely surround your aircraft in chaos, ultimately destroying any missile within a one-mile radius. Or a 100 mile radius. Kinda depends on how much you like to fire the guns.
@AWESOMENESS360 Yup and since using guns with 0 damage against missiles (with relatively high "impactForce" still just destroys them it's kind off the only option.
@Minecraftpoweer oh, so as the missile was headed towards you, the magnets would kinda push it away? Cool concept, I have a good feeling that most other players are going to want magnets that repel objects too, maybe it'll catch on to the Devs.
@AWESOMENESS360 It would just use negative Power magnets to make the missiled "Bounce" off.
@Minecraftpoweer lol, same! How would the Anti-Missile defense work?
@AWESOMENESS360 Also anti missile defence
@AWESOMENESS360 Believe it or not that is the first thing that came to mind when thinking about repeling magnets.

Aww... welp, that kinda puts the kabosh on my idea...
I actually didn't even want to mention my idea so nobody would steal it, but now that I know that it's impossible, I may as well share. I wanted to make a realistically functioning railgun in SimplePlanes, but I guess that'll never happen.
No, thats the first thing I tried. It just doesn't connect anything at all. Same as power 0.
just doesnt stick
So far it just refuses to stick and what platform are you on phone or computer?
I will gladly help you
