Okay, I appreciate some other people have done this kind of thing in the past, but I don't feel like it was executed to its fullest extent.

Dynazty Guild WarGames

The idea is that Tomorrow Night, Saturday 23nd at 18:00 EST (or about 22:00 GMT / UTC) we will have a war between 2 teams. Blue and Red.

Depending on number, there's a potential for three vehicle classes (with plans for more in the future):

• Tank
• Scout aircraft (no weapons)
• Bomber (slow and doesn't drop weapons as fast as a tank can fire rounds)

How many classes we use will depend on the turnout. (3 or less on a team and it's probably not worth using the scout and bomber classes). Also depends if the builds can be finished on time.

So how do you sign up?

Firstly, you need to be able to run discord and SimplePlanes simultaneously and it's definitely preferable to have a microphone if you're wanting to help your team out (some can't view the chat while playing). Remember, anyone can see the built in SimplePlanes chat, so top secret game plans would be compromised if you used that.

Secondly, you'll need a role. There's a 50% chance you'll be able to choose your team, but in order to keep the teams even, we need to automatically assign every other user. However, if 2 users on opposite teams aren't happy with their colour, we'll swap you. Teams may also be shuffled if people don't turn up.

There's also the option to be a spectator if you don't really want to participate.

Finally, you need to download an authorised team vehicle team to play it (which one will depend on a number of factors that will be decided shortly before the event).

Game Plan

We convene in the "CommonRoom"/"Wargames_events" chat for a briefing on what's going to happen (how many of each vehicle, location, server, etc) shortly before 22:00 EST.

After the briefing, we'll enter our private team chat rooms. If you're on the Blue Team, you can't see or enter the Red Team chat and vice versa. Spectators, you'll be able to see both team rooms, but you won't be able to talk/chat in them as you're just spectating. That and we don't want people leaking information to the opposite team.

Then the games begin.

Afterwards, we'll reconvene in the "CommonRoom"/"Wargames_events" and discuss the match, what can be improved upon, etc. and then have another game if we feel like it.
