Early this weekend, a expedition mounted by the Salt Lake Guards Militia to Zion Canyon have been attacked by large forces of tribal soldiers, who have, initially, inflicted large casualties, but after taking positions in the high grounds, the Salt Lake Guards Militia have set up a field of sniper fire to repel attacks.
All has gone well for Salt Lake City, until the tribesmen banded together and raided a military cache, stealing armed APC's and going on large attacks against the Salt Lake Guards. The SLC Republic has asked it's allies for armament, and not allied reinforcement, as according to Field Commander James Hsu, he says it is "Not needed, and is a waste of resources and space. All we need is some light anti-tank rifled weaponry, and nothing else. The men and women of other nations simply don't understand you can't take a heavy tank into a narrow ravine."
The Salt Lake City Guards Militia have lots of experience in marksmanship and survivalist training, and supply has not been a problem. The tribesmen have yet to assault again, out of fear of losing many men to the near-invisible sniper teams.
The Salt Lake Guards are working with other nations to drop them weapons, to no avail.
That's it for the Zion Canyon battle.
After an expedition was mounted to Alaska, the Salt Lake Guards, Federal Republic of Eastern Snowstone and the now-dissolved German Empire, President Graham found a large military complex of un-describable size.
The President has reported that "The Kodiak Base spans 14 levels, each of a giant square footage. They were able to store an entire fleet of battleships and cruisers, as well as ground based units, and lots of supply for both! I even found and managed to manually override a supercomputer, now linked with the ESX. Perhaps now the Zion Canyon battle will be a bit less costly to us."
The Zion Canyon war is currently sided on the Tribals for the victors, but the Salt Lake Militia has some nasty secrets up their sleeve.
That's it for this morning. Back to you, Jake.
