Updating My Mod Portfolio With The New Unity

As of posting this forum, I have updated the Greenscreen Map to be compatible with 1.8. It should work, but if you encounter any problems, please let me know.

This forum post will also serve as a list of what I plan to do with my old mods - specifically, the following will indicate when I will update my mods, as well as why I will update them at that time.

Mod Update Priorities

High Priority
1. Greenscreen Map - Done!
- Justification: This map is nearly essential for anyone (including me) that makes graphics including their aircraft. It was imperative to update it ASAP

Medium Priority
2. Nexus Designer
- Justification: This designer developed some known problems (lighting) that should be easy to fix. Besides, a good amount of people use the designer.
3. Photographer's Map
- Justification: This map is another near-essential for players who like to create graphics of their aircraft. I have also seen players use it in tandem with the screenshot mod. I do not see any current issues in the mod due to 1.8, but I would like to update some of the textures to be a little less limiting.

Low priority
4. The Nexus
- Justification: I have not seen any errors with the map yet. It is, technically speaking, my best map, so I might as well update it sometime.
5. The Badlands
- Justification: This is one of my oldest maps, but it is also one of my most popular. To my knowledge, no problems are present in this current build.

Probably never gonna do it
6. Incident 01-D1
-Justification: A decent map that wasn't received very well. It's a good map, but a little underwhelming. You can take some nice pictures in it though.
7. New Portum
- Justification: Good map, but it takes 3 hours to compile. I have to compile 2 times, too. That's 6 hours, then, if Unity is completely cooperative with me, which almost never happens.

Estimated Time frame

So, when am I going to update the remaining mods? Well, to put it simply, I'll get to it, when I get to it. I'd honestly rather build new vehicles than re-compile some old mods, and my academics take precedence over SP. However, I will have some time during the summer, so perhaps I'll, at least, update some of highest priority mods in the next few summer months.

Extra note: I will probably update the mods in bunches, and post a quick forum post to notify you all about the mod updates. Thanks for reading!

    @CrashFighter05 No worries. Feel free to search (with the website’s search feature) for how to unblock yourself too. Might come up with something.
