Regarding Achievement Posts

235 FPRed  9.1 years ago

As you guys may know, achievement points are fairly popular. I get why people post these kinds of stuff, as people have achieved milestones. But, when they're posted on the airplanes page, it really grinds my gears. Achievement posts should only be posted on the forums, not the airplanes. I get the vibe that people post on the airplanes part of the website so that they can receive more points, therefore increasing their score. Not only that, you get more points off the airplane page than the forums. There should be a rule where achievement points should only be posted on the forums, so that the airplanes plague can be clean, where only airplanes can be posted.

TL;DR: Post achievement posts on the forums.

EDIT I found that some people are confused about what I said. I love it when people who make aircraft and couple it with their achievement post. For example, you make an aircraft and as a title, you can say something like "I hit 1000!" or the likes. I'm fine with that, but I'm not fine with the people who put random stuff for their aircraft, like fuselage blocks spelling "5000" or just a cockpit.

He's right. Few things are more ignorant than assuming one is jealous because thet are opposed to something. If one is mentally capable of thinking like thus person does, they are likely capable of producing something worth looking at. @kman

@kman I am not being a jerk, I am merely stating my opinion. Again, your ignorance blinds you as you type out your words. I do not care about my rank and continue to not care. I'm just here to enjoy people's creations. I understand that reaching milestones makes people happy and I'm happy for them. But, I really hate it when they post it on the AIRPLANES TAB. Hence the name "Airplanes" and not "Hey look I reached 'blah' rank" tab. If someone wants to post about reaching a milestone, I would greatly appreciate it if they post it on the forums so their post won't clutter the very booming Airplanes tab. @Meawk Don't add fuel to the flame. Thanks for supporting me and all, but don't attack @kman .

@kman get out now. You are being arrogant and looking down at someone else with lesser points and calling them a jerk when they are actually saying something true that should be payed attention to. ur just r00d m8

@FPRed if you act like a jerk you get no where. It's not your choice when you barely have points/rank i respect that but I also think that it makes people happy.

@Me600 No, you're are completely fine. As long as you couple it with an aircraft that you have made, I am fine with it. It's the people who don't put just spell out their milestone mark for their aircraft. I would love to see your drone. But I don't look forward to looking at lame numbers on a screen.

@kman I'm sorry, but I can't help but to laugh at the ignorance of your comment. I am not jealous of anyone. I'm actually supportive of people who reach milestones on this wonderful website. But, the thing that I hate about achievement posts on the AIRPLANES PART of the website is that most of them do not have any sort of aircraft to couple it with. Most of the time, it's fuselage blocks spelling out the number score that they reached, and it's very irritating as it clutters the airplanes tab. I come to this website to experience new aircraft, not some trashy fuselage blocks that spell out "100", "200", etc. If I wanted to, I could've made a new airplane spelling out "100" since I just recently just hit the 100 milestone mark, but I won't, because that would be hypocritical of me.
