I’ve been browsing simpleplanes for... about a month.
I’ve finally made an account, and soon I’ll make my first plane.
I’m making a f-16, but can someone make a body for it plz.
I don’t know how to make it pointy on the edge, and circlular in the middle.
Edit: if u do plz “tag?” Me on it
@Bamboo Welcome to the community! as it has been said before the F-16 is hard to model correctly. Try experimenting with different blocks and see if any work out for u! hope your first days on the site help out.
Thx for the suggestions@Jetpackturtle @Kerbango @EternalDarkness
Hi, I'm Jetpackturtle, builder of land vehicles. You can totally tag me, I can give it a try, however the F-16 is not a great starter plane. You may want to try an MIG.
Hello welcome to simple planes, make sure to check out other people's planes and various posts, to see how people make their vehicles. Tear the plains apart see what the settings are set at learn from other people's lessons. Have fun mainly though. You don't have to make replicas by the way.
F-16 has a very complex shape. It can't even be done right with sculpting (overlapping fuselage blocks). You'd need paneling, which would probably be too much to expect from the first build. I suggest trying a more builder-friendly design, like a jet trainer or an attacker. Those tend to have easier shapes and more obvious proportions. If you are on PC or Android, I suggest looking up Fine Tuner and Overload on the "Mods" page, as those are very helpful while building. They are second and third highest rated, I think.
Thx@CrashFighter05
@Bamboo Try using fuselage. I thinl of it a modeling clay, you can do whatever you want, square, roundish, or a full on cylinder. Try using 1 lenght long fuselage until you get to the center. Then making the width and height smaller gradually until you reach the point. Hope this helps.
No I mean the fuselage, and only that. Or maybe some parts@JamesBoA
Yah I’ve read the rules, any thing in particular?@JamesBoA
