With my Yasen finally completed, I now come at a turning point to my sub creation. The following changes shall commence.
1: I will no longer be so restrictive on the part count of my subs, though I won't (ever) go full 1k parts I will be more open to adding little details here and there. That said, I will try to avoid going over 150-200 parts, which based on the results of the Yasen seems possible.
2: All subs from this point forward will now be made in the manner of the Yasen, utilizing the tricks I used there to ensure responsive controls, functioning rudder, and full ballast control.
That is all for changes, now for the next group of subs I have planned. Note that I am open to requests and that as always requests will have priority over any subs on this list. After all, I build to provide to the community. :)
1 German Type 212 AIP submarine
2 Oberon Class Diesel Electric submarine
3 AN-1 Submarine Aircraft Carrier
4 Yangtze SSBN from Fallout 4
5 Golf Class SSB
6 SSN-575 submarine, the OG Seawolf
7 Oscar Class SSGN
8 Mike Class Submarine
That'll be it for now, expect more detailed and better handling subs in the future!
Edit: Almost forgot, alongside all these subs I also plan to make a submarine kit! Something with all the necessary parts to allow peeps without access to XML modding (apple user mainly) to build subs themselves! So look forward to that in time as well.
@MintLynx Update! The Scinfaxi is being uncancelled! Thanks to This amazing build, I've discovered and learned what was causing me problems and how to make my model workable. It will however be relegated to a side project. But at some point, I will make the Scinfaxi operational!
The Scinfaxi has officially been canceled. Feel free to download the model if you wanna do something with it. Be warned though, it broke my game so do so at your own risk.
@Destroyerz117 I happen to have a laptop that can't run those monsters so I'm certainly not going to build something I can't even take to the sea without turning the game to 'SimpleSlideShow', XD
yeah staying under 1000 parts ha ha..haha..
