At 01:30 this morning the FP-2B 'Whale' successfully completed its first raid. Two aircraft attacked an Algorithm base on Snowstone, destroying a hanger, three MiG-21 interceptors, two accommodation huts and a small skiff. The Whales flew low and slow under the radar and, pulling up at last moment, carried out a gliding attack on a heavily defended aerodrome.
On the return journey a MiG attempted to intercept one of the aircraft, which flew so slow the MiG stalled and crashed onto the glacier, exploding on impact.
Further attacks are being planned on the pockets of Algorithm territory still uncaptured on Snowstone.
@MTakach All resistance has ceased. A Task Force of 1 Butterfly-class corvette, 1 Fury-class frigate, 1 Type 26 frigate, our Genesis-class destroyer SWS Redemption and a Tide-class supply ship are heading to Snowstone to provide aid to the previously occupied areas.
@TheFantasticTyphoon ok
@MTakach Ok, our F-112s and Sentinels are circling over the area.
@TheFantasticTyphoon ok, I'm going to airdrop some command outposts on avalanche for a FOC (forward operation post). I'm also sending in 14 MBT/HAV tanks.
@MTakach Our forces have begun advancing on the Algorithm. The offensive is going well.
@MTakach OK
@JamesBleriot na fam not yet. (pesky little terrorists)
@MTakach Need assistance?
@MTakach No. When we kicked them out a few months ago there were still a few pockets of land they still controlled. Saltwater Marine Corps forces have prevented supplies coming into those zones and now we have no other commitments we are getting ready to finish them off.
@TheFantasticTyphoon the Algorithm is trying to take over snowstone again.
@MTakach What?
not again
