[SPMRP] The Deutschland's Response

We have been in this dimension for only a couple of days and have done no harm, yet we are still being threatened. Yesterday we were attacked by a terrorist group. While we received no casualties, this still threatens the safety of my crew. Knowing this, I have given the order that all military assets we have on the Deutschland be used to combat this threat to us and our allies.

A leader protects their own.

Yes, having a refueling point in space would save us resources. We'll provide the necessary equipment and send some of our experienced crew.

@CaptainEssen We shall send you the uranium on board an Avro RJ. The SWS Agamemnon (an AAC) can act as a mothership to your fighters. As soon as you fly your fighters aboard we can begin searching.

It could take years to repair the ships systems, however I can think of one solution. The Trident fighters are fully capable of space flight, they can even perform small jumps. Of course that's mostly between planets but with enough reactor fuel we can push it to the limit and I do believe you have access to uranium. We could use the fighters to find the Solarium crystals for the Deutschland's jump drive.

@CaptainEssen Well, two 300 metre long vessels could lift a 1000 metre long one, but I suppose that with limited power you're probably making the right decision to stay on Earth.

The Deutschland is massive, to lift it would require another ship of equal size and power. The next issue would be that once we are in space, we would be mostly stuck. Our best bet would be to repair the main reactor and the main engine. Of course that would require lots of materials and a large amount of anti-matter.

@CaptainEssen Our AACs are capable of spaceflight. If both of them tried lifting the Deutschland we might just reach an altitude where the Deutschland can get to space. All the ships involved would require modifications however.

    What do you propose?

@CaptainEssen We might be able to get the Deutschland into Earth orbit, would you want that?

@CaptainEssen Wise words. One of our frigates will permanently be stationed alongside your ship to help defend you from attack. Although I doubt you need help with technology like yours.
