This is Jaeger; An anti-air defense system currently in development by Rainier for EternalDarkness's Air Defense Challenge. Jaeger combines missiles and guns for an effective combination for protecting airspace.

Jeager uses a combination of the M61 Vulcan gatling gun and a pack behind the gun that unleashes a barrage of kinetic-kill, hyper-velocity micro missiles with a max range of 3 miles. These two weapons combined create a 3 mile "bubble" around the Jaeger system that is incredibly hard to breach through. For short range beyond 3 miles, Jaeger utilizes x4 infrared-guided AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles, and for longer ranges, it will tow a missile battery that carries up to at least x8 AIM-120C AMRAAMs. While not an option currently, future Jaeger options will include a laser turret in place of the M61 Vulcan.

Jaeger is nearing completion, with the only items remaining to complete are the kinetic micro missiles, missile battery trailer, and the tracking camera for the CIWS gun.
