In the Bomford Military, we have been noticing the shortcomings of the AC series, (our first generation of tanks) with poor armor and hard-to-get parts.
The AC-1 family is as follows:
AC-1A- standard tank
AC-1B- Howitzer infantry support vehicle
AC-1C- Mobile AA gun
AC-1D- Tank Destroyer
With the introduction of the T-414, the AC-1’s were supplemented and the ill-fated T-23 (our 2nd generation of tanks) Armored Cars we’re pushed out of service. But with these two new tanks, the T-415 and the T-416, the entire AC-1 family is planned to be pushed out of frontline service altogether, and into reserves to supplement the slowly disappearing T-23’s. The third generation of tanks and their variants are as follows:
T-414- Light/Medium Assault tank (supplementing and slowly replacing the AC-1A)
T-414 ARV- Armored Recovery vehicle (meant to replace the M3 Tractor)
————————————————
T-415- Heavy breakthrough tank (meant to replace the AC-1A)
T-415B- Heavy Tank Destroyer (meant to replace the AC-1D)
———————————————
T-416- Light/Medium Ambush Tank (meant to replace the AC-A)
T-416B- howitzer support variant (meant to replace the AC-1B)
T-416AA- Anti Aircraft Variant (meant to replace the AC-1C)
These variants of the tanks will be listed underneath the original tanks as successors, (such as T-416AA will be listed underneath T-416) so make sure to check them out!
Quick recap:
AC series: 1st generation of tanks (though they are imported)
T-23 and M3 tractor: 2nd generation of tanks
T-41_ series: 3rd generation of tanks
actually, yeah, your right! MBT’s do make Td’s a bit useless. How about instead I make an SPG version? @MrVaultech
Hasn't the advent of the MBT made turretless tank destroyers somewhat obsolete by now?
