Project Light-Bender has been proceeding well, with the first prototype receiving its intended power plant just a day ago and is due for its first flight next week.
After computer simulation the 'boffins' realised that the aircraft's landing speed would be over 400 mph. Therefore the prototype was modified for water landings, floating just below the surface after it comes to a halt. The prototype, now christened the X-83 Light-Bender, is rated for 2300 mph on the new scramdrive engine.
I may post a video teaser shortly. T to be tagged.
